How power corrupts most men manifold!
Making men slaves; gain wealth, subdue the pen.

The Above lines are from the Sonnet made by Dr. John Celes. Entitled Misuse of Power, this sonnet actually gives us a picture of how men with power use such opportunity to make weaker man weak as they also enslave themselves to wealth, as they take more hold of their position.

They are men with position: the boss, the general, the people, who have taken the position much higher than others.—but why does people with such authority get a bad reputation?

Spiderman clearly gives us the quote “with great power comes great responsibility”. Clearly this means that to take care of the people around you to background check them for the affectivity of each role would mean to be considerate and be smart in every choice you make that involves them. Abuse of power usually happens when they have no idea what they already have. They have the power to lead in democracy, everybody free to speak one’s mind for the benefit of the team. However the misuse happen when they themselves become enclosed in their own ideas and let others go failing. This usually leads to the team’s breakup that is not so easy to mend. It is hard to come into terms that may help benefit the whole team and it is hard to earn back trust because of one person’s selfish intent. Once this is not met, power may turn a person from selfish to corrupt and being corrupt means to even influence others to go bid his way. This may definitely, permanently break bonds and at times ruin whatever morale a person has.

The work area is but the best example where rapport between boss, associates, and workers are first seen. In order to bring about a peaceful “co-existence” inside the place, the head officials should keep the following in mind:

1. Build healthy relationships. Leaders are meant to influence people. Motivating the work force to do their best and to ensure that there is growth in each makes them more united and appreciative of each skill. As a leader handing task and doing your own may be your job but at the end of the day, when work is done, a negative behavior still pulls you down.

2. Playing favorites. There are instances when a person may favor one due to some characteristics that made them an eye catcher. However learn to look at each in equally taking notes of their specific strength. Motivate each and try to get to know everyone so as to avoid favoritism.

3. Be careful with your word. Words are very powerful. To let go of one may mean destruction of the other. Think first before speaking and try to moderate your speech. Try not to go with a team member neck to neck. Keep things calms as there are times people find for something that may lead to your embarrassment and possibly termination from work especially when you gain enemies.

4. Hold yourself higher. You are the boss and not a member. There are times that you’ll have to joke and talk with them so as to make them at ease and learn more of their needs, however keep in mind that there should be a limit to your way of approach so as not to let them abuse the attention you are giving them. The term “reality television” actually became more familiar to people as it pertains to show that features ordinary people instead of actors. Although such shows existed long ago, it was only during 2000 that the term was actually used. There are shows which are not included to this call such as news and sports programs.

This program follows a wide range of formats from game quiz shows to surveillance production shows. These shows was said to be “real-life-dramas” that many viewers have grown engrossed in watching these them. After many got hooked with programs that sort of make most people search for something material, reality programs have gotten them realize that this is the real world and there are many things that may happen. We may not like it but this is real and we must learn from these experiences.

The first reality show, and was called the granddaddy of reality television, was Candid Camera by Allen Funt. This was based on his 1974 radio show Candid Microphone which broadcast unsuspecting ordinary people react to certain pranks played on them by the production. Sensations such as this continued as it evolved to quiz shows, dating games and a beauty pageant named Miss America. Ladies representing each state in the nation competed where the winner achieved national celebrity status.

At present there are dozens of reality shows that has given fame to some of our most well known stars. Most of reality television seems to be more focused on finding talents and further more giving ordinary people a chance to shine. American Idol is now in its 9th season. During their previous shows it has give fame to some of today’s greatest music artists. X Factor in Britain and Britain’s Got Talent even gave surprising artists that people now look up to. It cannot be denied how people search for something to background check and that can get them to success which many do believe is what stardom can give them.

Surveillance type of programs featuring people dealing with daily issues like Big Brother, Survivor and The Biggest Looser are also at the heap of getting people’s attention. Viewers then tend to hate and love those involve in these shows where they themselves tend to learn life’s lessons.

As people search for more shows that may serve as entertainment and at the same time enlightenment, TV and movie productions think of possible shows that may make people love, laugh and cry. The checking is definitely imperative in the success of a business company especially if a certain application has to do with a sensitive position. But in general, most employers conduct a checking due to the imminent business climate nowadays. It must be noted that the information that are being required in an employment check has its relation with the kind and nature of work that is being applied for. Say for instance, hiring a jobseeker with the criminal records can be risky if the work deals with children. In this case, the employer must be cautious to protect the welfare of the children. Those who had been convicted due to sexual harassment may prove disadvantageous especially if in the working place, there are a good number of female employees. The Bulava missile was test-fired the same day from the Dmitry Donskoi submarine in the White Sea. The said test, however, failed at the third stage. Background check on the navy’s reaction, it can be noted that during the investigation regarding the spiral light, the Russian navy already denied news of the missile test fire; the denial came after the news came out.

Evidence presented today was two videos: first of yet another spiral light display which appeared in over Norway yesterday caused by a failed missile test launched; and second was a 3D simulation of what could happen if the said missile test launch would fail. This was put together by British engineer Doug Ellison.

Background check on how the mystery started came about when a blue light was seen to soar up from behind a mountain. It then stopped in mid air and began to move in circles thus creating the spiral which seconds later covered the sky which lasted for 10 to 12 minutes. Those who have seen it described it as a big fireball that spun around thus creating the spiral.

Truls Lynne Hansen from the Tromso Geophysical Observatory agreed to the claims of the light’s origin; may really be from a missile test launch failure. Earlier part of the day, the military took back their statement thus confirming that the lights were indeed from the failed launch test from the White Sea.

BBC News, last October 9, 2009, released a story about the quest to stop aging after 50 years of age. The said age is the start when the body tends to feel ailments and bones become weaker. Their aim to stop the clock for people is to give them new inner parts like bones and organs that may keep them younger—plus the fact that it would keep also rebuild on its own (solving the problem with transplant rejection). This idea may be similar to the one in Bicentennial man where a humanoid invented organs to help in medical transplant instead of wanting to have a lasting life).

Ideas of regaining a lasting life, especially that of keeping the younger look compared to the age may be one of the many wants man is aiming for. Youth has always been associated with strength both of physical and mental. The story presented by BBC manifests the ideas presented in some of the Sci Fi stories that today’s technological era gives where replacing or even regenerating body parts to regain the look and strength is done medically, the fairytales that are usually told in bedtime stories gives us this idea through magic amulets that rejuvenates beauty and power or the very famous fountain of youth which brings back youthfulness once a person drink its waters.

The ideas of getting back at age from the wrinkles and brittleness that time gives is a hopeful idea to live longer and better. One reason is the fear of death. Another reason is the want to do more things mainly because they enjoy life. Unfortunately the want to live longer and stay young is being thwarted by man’s hardheadedness in following what should be observed: proper diet and clean living.

If we try to think back on ancient years, even before the time of Christ, men never had sodas to drink nor preserved foods to eat. They don’t have cars and factories that contribute to air pollution and the technology has not kept us inside the house where we just sit and not move much. In other words, life back then was pretty healthier.

There may be no medical discoveries that help cure illnesses, then again there are no reason for such ailments, like what we have presently, come about. This is but another fact that made life longer those days. Pollution bring about a lot of problems in health, even the food we eat produces poison and allergens. The body is kept strong with good and healthy food not to mention the way of labor was manual, even with their travels; people walk instead of riding cars while computers and vacuum cleaners are not used to do documents or keep the place clean.

What keeps youthfulness for keeps is healthy lifestyle: Eating a balance diet of fruits, vegetable and lean meat without the preservatives and exercise. We have depended so much on technology that even kids prefer to stay indoors in front of the television or play games with computers. The result of background check in man’s present way of living is definitely a big impact on keeping our lives, even over eighty. From domestic violence to those that even involves the government, time and again have we reflected on the situations that cause disturbances within our own home that there are times we don’t know whether we could even trust ourselves and the decisions we make. But of all the criminal activities ever committed the most troubling perhaps is that of the child kidnapping. Some are found; most are missing.

Kidnapping is detaining a person as hostage against his or her will. To picture a child being together with a kidnapper in an unknown room, nothing but plea for family is more than just a heartbreaking thought. The feeling of helplessness is but torture to the onlookers, more so for the family of the victim. For them it is death.

According to FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the number of missing persons that was reported from 1982 to 2000 has increased at 468%. What is more staggering is the fact that there are even times that someone trusted and known, or more so related is the perpetrator himself. In the US, 49% are what we categorized as “family kidnapping”. “Acquaintance kidnapping” is 27%, while a “stranger kidnapping” ranks lowest with 24%.

There are ways that can help prevent this from happening. Doing a background check is one way that can secure the family. Cats are social species that form feline groups but unlike wild animals that also form groups like lions and jaguars, they hunt alone. They are very territorial animals wherein they would mark their territories by urine spraying, by rubbing objects at head height with secretions from facial glands and by defecation. Although cats are social species, they do not have social survival strategy which is known as an act of cooperation between animals for food and survival. It may be last 2000 yet this feel good music which incorporates good lyrics and melody still can get that heart beat racing for romance. We have all given ourselves the denial to get into that loving feeling. At times past experiences in family or former flings get us into thinking that enough is enough yet let’s face it: this song can definitely change a person’s mind.

A good song is usually composed of truth: this song is what I would say a wake up for those who have locked themselves from reality (and that include me) that there is still something better than the past. A background check on every person always has this experience and everyone who has gone through it and passed with flying colors will surely agree that denying oneself the right to be happy with the person who has made them grow.

Years before we would not have imagined that this kind of “thing” would be possible. But the human brain apparently keeps evolving and continued to search for a perfect tool to do lots of things for them in a very convenient manner. Now we can do almost anything we could ever imagine on the internet.

I say, those who have thought of this concept must be real geniuses. I mean how can one be so out in the open searching on those huge search engines while having the luxury of keeping their privacy? It’s really good they have thought of their mini-background checks by way of asking for a password of some sort. Otherwise lots of people would really get annoyed at a mess or a disaster that’s just waiting to happen with all the unorganized stuff piling up on their net space let alone keep track of information because there would be no way to identify who-owns-what. And just think, the internet keeps expanding and branching out to cater to different needs and to various groups.

For instance, business transacted on the internet could be quite stressful in that one is not fully aware of what he is getting himself into.
