NO HAND ANY HAND
by dz
Your comfortable a refreshing beverage along side of you in the chair. Just sitting quietly and alone, and thinking.
Your mind wanders, your eyes looking around the card room because of boredom and tiredness. All of a sudden Wow! A/K suited, you shake your head of the cobwebs ready for action, then only to fall prey to disaster, as some poor sole played that 3/2 unsuited in the big blind and flopped a monster, after calling your raise.
What to do now, keep playing or get up and leave? Some may want to stay because they want that one win before leaving, striving relentlessly, hoping those cards will come their way and then finding out to late that they are down to their last chip. No hand, no wins, a losing day.
So we pick ourselves up and if there is only one chip left toss it over to the dealer. Oh! Yes tomorrow is another day, those cards had no magic today, yes tomorrow may hold a winner.
Good Luck at the tables …
All of those Texas Hold’em games you’ve played over the years, the good ones, the bad ones. Many left a lasting impression in your mind, and you can recall them all. It’s like poetry; you smile, because winners and losers alike feel the same way not only in mind but in heart. You love this game! And you’ve played it with passion.
